Hi guys.

I'm happy with my Power Producer 8.0, but when I want to create a disk with menus and stuff, I cant get ridd of that d*** default music.
I can choose music for the menues, but the root menu just keep playing some hilirious soundtrack.

I have tried to follow the tutorials I've been able to find, hopping the issue would be touched, but no luck.

I do, of course, remove it from in the editing window, by using the "minus" note button, but it just wont go away.
I'd even removed the folders where it is stored in the program folder, no effect and It's getting very anoying.

Does anyone, by any chance, know that it is, for a fact, just not possible, or does anyone know how to get rid of it?

Any suggestion is warmly welcome.

To remove the music in the Menu, you must remove the music in the Create Disk Module.

Just under the preview, is a text box labeled Background Music, Click the minus sign to remove the music. You can then add your own music if you wish. Carl312: Windows 10 64-bit 8 GB RAM,AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4 GHz,ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB,240GB SSD,two 1TB HDs.

Hi Carl.

Thanx for your quick response.
My program must look different than yours, but I think this is what you mean, right:

I was sure that was the trick.
It removes the music from my chapters, but not from the root menu.
I'm pretty tired of it, to be honost.

But thanx antway Carl.

It depends on the Template you have selected in menu preferences.

Template 1 plays a short video before it gets to the Root/Main menu. (That Video has sound)
Once the menu plays out that short video, the root menu is silent.

Same true of Template 2 and Template 3.

Template 4 does not play a video at start. Therefore it is silent.

Attached screen shot of create disk module with Template 4 so that you can identify the right menu in your PD.

I suggest you try each of the menu choices that you have and see which ones play before the Root menu appears.
All you have to do is select, then apply to all pages, check the preview, move on to the next menu until you have tried all of the menus.
Don't forget to remove the background music on each template before preview.

I have tried different menues, but maybe I've just been lucky, to hit the ones with music.
I'll try again with template 4
