Help! I have a new computer (Dell XPS 8300, windows 7 Home Premium, 16 gig ram, 1.5 tb hd, 1 gig video card, 64 bit op sys etc) and upgraded to PD9. I finished producing a movie which is 1 hour 13 minutes in length. I can save and Produce the movie just fine, but when I select the "Create Disc" button or from the File menu, PD9 crashes. I am not receiving an error code, just the following message: "Opening Create Disc Page" "Initializing Module (70%)", then "powerdirector has stopped working" (a problem caused the program to stop working correctly..... close program).

I've uninstalled the PD9 program, reinstalled, then updated with the latest PD9 update. I've even tried splitting the one large movie into two smaller movies, but PD9 is still crashing....

Has anyone experienced this problem?

Thanks
Chris Chris

Yes, I can play the file back on my computer. I chose the MPEG-2 format. Producing the movie creates a movie file. I couldnt tell what extension though. Chris

I did import a short movie clip I created (from another movie) that has a file extension of .mpg. I created it in PD6. However, I removed all of the short movie's with the .mpg's extension from the movie and then tried to "Create Disc" and it still did not work.
