Issue: Smartsound module database does not sort owned music from sample music accurately.
Issue: Certain tracks were not "sticking" in production (Pavane).

After updating to 2930, I now find that my SS tracks are properly sorted...
...about 100 random clicks on both machines no errors found.
"Pavane" works, too. I do not recall the other trouble-tracks.

If you have had previous SS sorting or sticking issues, and you are using 2930, please test and respond.
There was no mention of SS fixes in the patch, but I cannot find any missing or unsorted tracks, yet!

Confirmed over here, Barry.

I tested a few of the "Core Foundations" tracks listed here http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/16761.page#83878 and the audio was present in produced files.

Purchased tracks now appear in bold under the Style Categories, where they'd previously been absent.

That's a plus!

Cheers - Tony

I just went through the MENU module, and my SS is still a mess regarding sorting. However, I am so pleased with the fix of the sorting issue in the EDIT module, I can live with the menu error. It still should work, but I can live with it, because the workaround is so easy, and menu music is not a dominating edit feature.
I just wonder what the root of the fix is, Cyberlink or Smartsound.
Either way, it's a big deal to me. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)

Barry/Tony:

That's great news, if the SS problems have been fixed. I finally purchased SonicFire Pro last week so that I could reliably use SS tracks in PD9 by converting them to .wav files in SFP and then importing them into PD9.

I was running into issues where even the workaround of just placing a SS clip on the timeline of the desired duration would not produce to an audible .wav file. My time was/is worth something, so I gave up on that and bit the bullet and purchased SFP. Should have waited a week, but no, SFP is a good program and I am sure that I will get much use from it.

I have another stack of home VHS videos to convert, so I will let you know if 2930 resolves the many SS problems that I was experiencing.

Looks like this could be a great patch!

Have a great day.

SFP is Quicktracks' Daddy! Quicktracks is real nice music software, but SFP, that's SCORING software.
