timeline seconds, miliseconds syncing up with the audio

i am having a hard time lining up a video to an audio track can we break down the timeline to mili seconds or frames how? can i get it to sync closer

Hi Jeff, just click on the time line numbers and drag it out as far as it will go and that is frame level.

Please see the video on how easy it is to stretch to frame level. The audio sysnc can then be carried out.

I thought that simply using the ZOOM slider in the bottom left of the time line achieved exactly the same thing or am I missing something? Gigabyte I7/4940 O/C 4.3, Noctua Cooler 10GB DDR3, 4 x 1TB, 1TB SSD, Geoforce GTX660 TI 8500W PSU, Windows 10 Pro 64bit.

Zoom slider does, as mentioned in the full PD9 tutorial, but one has less finite control.
