My CPU is pegged at 98-100% while playing the Blu-RAY 3D A Christmas Carol (also Despicable Me) ATI Avivo is checked before the movie starts, and when I noticed stuttering during the first 5 minutes I came out of full screen and noticed that AVIVO is not checked and CPU is at 100%. Video card is AMD Radeon 6950 with 2 GB ddr5.

Here is the info tab from the player while the CPU is pegged:

Hi,

please install latest patches - your Version is too old to suport 6xxx cards

Interesting, I just downloaded the upgrade from powerdvd 8 to 10 Ultra within the past 2 weeks..but it seems that it installed build 1830 which is very old like you mentioned.

At any rate, I did run the patch a few days ago...but I will check this again tonight. I see where I have build 1830 on the advisor.

Upgraded to build 2429, and I can no longer select 120hz time sequential lcd in the 3d menu and cannot watch 3d anymore.

EDIT: With the new driver, auto detect is the option you want, it defaults my Acer as "nvidia vision capable", 3D is working, and hardware accerleration is working. Silky smooth playback in glorious 3d, I am happy with this set up! Now if you can only help me with my other thread about the G45...!
