Hi all

I was trying open a vid in the program

it's .MP4 (as usual for me)

but a message tells me :

"An Error occurred when opening this media file in Media library"

So , is there anyway to solve this problem ?

Thanks

Maybe the file is corrupted, because I have no problems with .mp4's.
Sorry I'm not more help!

Cheers!

Hi Sara,

Can you please attach a MediaInfo text file of your .MP4 file?
That maybe help.
You find instructions about MediaInfo here:

Sara,
Try this..........
Create a Diagnostic File
Win7 operating system
Start icon > Click
In the Search box type in > dxdiag
On your keyboard select > Enter (return)
Select > save the information
save as ****DxDiag.txt
Replace the **** with your name so the file can be identified easily.
Example: johnsmithDxDiag.txt

XP and earlier:
Go to > Start
Select > Run
Type in > Dxdiag
Click > OK
Select > save the information
save as ****DxDiag.txt
Replace the **** with your name so the file can be identified easily.
Example: johnsmithDxDiag.txt

A diagnostic file is used by PowerDirector Technical Support to analyze your PC set up.

Also, please read the info at the front of this forum as well as try using the "SEARCH" option. Most of these issues have been addressed somewhere.
Good Luck!
Cheers!
