Hi all and Dafydd, thanks for your help, I was not clear enougth with my last question.
It was the adjustable fade in and out on the PIP Designer, under the motion Tab.
There seems to be just check boxes for Fade in, Fade out and not the old dragable arrows ( PD5) under the clip preview to have short or long fade in times. If this is missing, I will be dissapointed because it was a feature I use often.
Steve.

Finally got a response from Cyberlink. This feature has been lost with upgrade to 6.

" Dear Steve,
Thank you for contacting CyberLink Online Support.
We understand your concern related with fade time in 'PiP' designer in PowerDirector.

Regarding your issue, for fade time in 'Motion' menu you can adjust 'Fade-in' and 'Fade-out'. However, if you use that 'Fade-in' it will automatically appear in the beginning of the movie and 'Fade-out' it will appear in the end off the movie. We regret to say that you can not adjust the timing for that.

We deeply regret for the inconvenience caused."

Poor show.

Hi steve,

Fade..... as the only fixed option. I fully understand your displeasure...... at not being able to select alternatives or to alter the length of the transition. Hopefully your comments (and ones I've passed on as well) will be taken on board for future PD versions.

Dafydd
PS Sorry not to have answered sooner...just a tad busy to look at all postings.
