Hello,

My Sony camera makes panorama photo's.

Does anybody knows if it is possible to view them in PD9?

Not as a photo, but a little "movie" from the left to the right.

Thank you for your support,

Trico

Yep, certainly and I have done this - no-one thinks it's a panorama.

Place the image into the video track and then useEdited: Magic Motion Designer and set a size and a motion path to move along the line of vision you want.

Thank you for answering Dafydd and i am trying fo make a panorama since yesterday, but it doesn't work.

I dubbleclick on the photo
I set the TV save zone on
I select the moving part next to the green cross (tab 2)
When I try to fill the TV zone, the photo becomes unsharp and its zooming.

Can you please help me?
Trico

Sorry,
I see I wrote the wrong instructions and should have given Magic Motion Designer.

Place Panarama
Select Magic Motion (icon on the left of the tracks)
select "user define"
select Motion Designer
Now you can set the motion path you want.
Use the Keyframes as you want.

Sorry about the earlier error...

Dafydd

Thank you very much Dafydd and now it's very easy to make a panoramaview. I am glad I wrote again to ask you.

The only problem is that the "movie" in the mediaviewer unsharp is. Is that a problem that solves automaticly when you convert the show to a Mpeg4?

Hi Trico,
Yes it is a fuzzy preview image and I have mentioned the display quality to CyberLink.

I am careful of the resolution when I "zoom" in on an image - the number of pixels displayed.

Hello Dafydd

Today I burned a test DVD (mpeg4) and the result on television of the Panorama is also very unsharp.
Do you know a solution?

And second, the HD movie of my camera is not full screen.
Is it better to burn a different way? I am making a show with photo's for 90% and some movies and panorama's.

Thank you for your support.

You've asked two questions, while perhaps confusing the situation at the same time.

DVD = vob/mpeg2 format
mpeg4 = mp4
H264 AVC = mts and mpeg 2 HD format
AVCHD disc = mts burnt to a standard disc used for DVD single layer or dual layer

If the image isn't sharp then you have to look at the resolution area you're selecting to display on screen during the motion pan.
A forum member has carried out some experiments and there can be a small marginal drop when a zoom is employed (very close up). As you haven't shown what you're using and such I cant offer you a lot of information. Screen shot of the magic Motion designer with the Panorama insitu is required please.

2. Again a screenshot of the Preview display would be useful to see what you're issue is. Appears to me you're using 3:2 images and expecting them to display in a 16:9 or 4:3 frame size without any loss of screen area. Without further visual information I'm just guessing.
