Today I tested powerdvd 12 on windows 8,
Guess what? The same problem.

so I chanced the card for the GTX 280 no mossaic but movie is not playing well.
Put back the GTX 690 it play's but with mossaic as in Windows 7.

Maybe for Christmas, I will be able to wathc the movie in 3D...
Sadly, we can not hope to find an issue if they can't reproduce the bug...

I also get this type of corruption, but it's only sporadic flashes, like one every 50 minutes.
It's not that it's periodic, but it happens say once or twice in the whole movie.
And yes, it only happens in Blu-ray 3D.

I confirmed that I have the same kind of problem with a french version of Pometheus BD 3D in france...
With the patch it is possible to launch the BD 3D of Prometheus (it was not possibme before...) but when I try to play the movie the sound is ok, the image are in 3D but they are partialy frozen !! I see image during 3 seconds, the image froze during 10 seconds and skip to a new image all along the movie...

I have see that it is possible to see without problem the bonus preview in 3D of Avatar, Titanic, I robot...
All my other BD 3D plays well before and after the update with the pacth except Pometheus...which work fine on Bluray 3D player...it is really a problem with powerdvd12....

Do you have a solution ?

Exactly the same problem with the same french Bluray Disc. Still no solution...

I see that I am not alone, I have exactly the same problem with the BR Prometheus in 3D, French (I'm French)

artefacts too, started from 10 sec of film and to end
so this is problem of powerdvd??
for example I install trial version of total media theatre and there this film is freeze after 10 sec,but in powerdvd it worked but with artefacts
you write that 10 version is good working?i have 12 and problem exist,what necessary to do??

wrote to support message, about this problem, three days ago, and get on next day message from support, where they required some info about os and problem, I send this info and past three days and no some replies..
somebody addressed to support?how long they replied?

Dear friends prometheus mosaic ^^

I was sent a message at support and the first answer was the 19 Jan 2013.
Few messages later who doesn't help, (the best troll message was: "please install the latest for resolve the problem", lol this patch 2625 just resolve youtube problem)
After, they send me a message the 16/03/2013 with: "thank you very much for your information regarding your problem. The behaviour you describe has been forwarded to our development department. We will release a patch that fixes this problem as soon as possible."

And now i see, power dvd 13, you kidding, the 12 not working... and i instal today the free demo power dvd 13 , same mosaic/artefacts!!!

From the beginning I have the feeling of being taken for an idiot.

I expect that the problem lying around since long months will be resolved and I hope something offered

on next week I planing to purchase Hobbit in 3d and test this in powerdvd

and I really hope,that problem with prometheus will be fix, because I think the problem only in built-in codecs, as well as in windvd film playing without problem,I just dont want to buy windvd yet only for prometheus..

I'm waiting since the begin of Prometheus BR3D and now i can't wait more time.

I will test with windvd and and give a fuck to Cyberlink.

I am certainly not a good customer. I had only bought some PowerDVD since the 3 and Power Director since the 7th. From now it's decided I'll not give 1 more $ to Cyberlink.
