Meanwhile I turned back to PD9 giving up all the nice things of PD10.
I couldn't install both versions on my PC to produce BD with PD10. Need another computer Γιώργος Κοπελιάδης

Has this problem been solved yet? Is there a workaround?

Hi WimV -

This is an old thread but, for PD10 users, a current issue. Testing at the time was done using the current patch (PD10 2231) & nothing has changed.

Applying video crop & a title to George's original clip & producing to MPEG-2 DVD HQ or DVD SP results in flickering. This has been replicated with a number of other clips from different cameras.

Neither PD9 nor PD11 exhibit the same flaws with MPEG-2 DVD HQ/SP production.

There is no workaround within PD10. Even first producing to MPEG-2 or AVC 1920x1080, then re-producing to DVD HQ results in combing artifacts. Reverting to PD9 (as George did) or using PD11 might be considered workarounds.

So - bottom line - issue unresolved.

Cheers - Tony

Thanks for your info, Tony! Good to know upgrading to PD11 solves the issue.

Best,
Wim
