PowerDVD 8 won't play Blueray disks

I've got PowerDVD 8 (updated to latest version 8.0.3328.50) bundled with Samsung SH-B083L BlueRay drive. The thing is that a couple of months ago it would play a Blueray disk but since then it won't anymore for some reason. When I press play the screen just becomes black (as when preparing to play) and then nothing. All further commands are "prohibited" and nothing happens. PowerDVD is still responsive just nothing is shown.
I am running Windows 7 x64 Ultimate and ATI 5570 graphic card. Note that it was working before.

Any idea what might be wrong?
