Things you need to know for BD 3D playback via HDMI 1.4 in PDVD 10U


NV VGA
1. Make sure your TV is HDMI 1.4 Capable. (HDMI 1.4 needs devices' support, devices include TV, A/V receiver)
2. in PowerDVD check the option in 3D settings: HDMI 1.4 enable 3D TV (which appears under Win 7 only)
3.Requirements for BD 3D playback via HDMI 1.4 in PDVD
- Win 7
- HDMI 1.4 compatible 3D TV
- HDMI 1.4 cable
- NVIDIA GPU supporting HDMI 1.4
System Requirements on the NV's website:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-requirements.html
- NV GPU Driver 260.63 or higher

4. Resolution in the “HDMI 1.4 enable 3D TV”
- BD 3D: 1080p@24Hz
- DVD 2D to 3D: 720P@60Hz

5. Please do not forget to run the NV Setup wizard: (contributed by user Blissful)
- Enable GPU-decoding
- Set TV-screen as primary display
- Run Powerdvd
- In setting choose HDMI 1.4 3D ready TV (you have to scroll down)
- Sellect auto detect
- Run wizard for 3D in the nVidia control center and choose 3D-Ready tv with glasses (has to run on the tv as primary display)
- Follow instructions
