Using "open with" to watch video_TS files PowerDVD 10

It seems to be a known problem that in PowerDVD 10 you cannot use open with to watch Video_TS files. I know you can open PDVD and go to the Video tab.
Here is why I would like to see a fix. I use MyMovies in WMC to view my online collection and have PDVD 10 as the external player. PDVD will open but the file will not begin to play. If anyone knows a workaround or if Cyberlink will be fixing this please advise.

As a side note to this. If we were able to see thumbnails on the video page in PDVD I would have no need to use MyMovies.
