power dvd 9 audio issues with hd5450 ati

i have recently upgraded from powerdvd8 to 9 and am trying to bitstream to my amp however every time i attemt to adjust audio settings power dvd9 crashes.

my set up is intel core i3 processor with intel core 3 processoer ati hd5450 graphics card.

Anyone have any ideas on this?
