Hello,

I'm new to Blue Ray Disc world.

I bought a new PC with a LG PLayer.

BD ADvisor is ALL green on my system.

PowerDVD is from BLue Ray disc Suite bundled with LG Player

I can read DVD perfectly. Every time I try to read a BLue Disc; I have the following error : 80040111
Internal Error with no text message.

I have tried My own 7.0 PowerDVD version, I have the error, I tried to patch the version to 7.3 , Same 8004011 Error. I downloaded a PowerDVD 9 Trial version and I have always the same error. Please help me, I would like to buy the PowerDVD9 but I want to be sure before everything works.

Thank you very much and sorry for my bad english

Yes

I'm Using MSE / Microsoft Security Essentials with Windows 7 Firewall

I tried to start my PC without Microsoft Security Essentials
with msconfig , I unchecked the MSE start command line but I still had the 8004011 error

Thank you

I am very disapointed. I have the feeling cyberlink support is mocking me !
This is not serious, I have open a ticket for my problem
and I have to send dxdiag files and results from a cyberlink tools designed to help. this is normal but....

now the support is asking me to close antivirus, to start it; to install a new version , then to uninstall , to take a screenshoot of the error etc...

I have the feelinh they can't help me, I do'nt want to waste my time making installtions and uninstallations of things

I give up with PowerDvd, I will Not buy the 9 version

Finallly I found and solve the problem

I post this message for others who could have the same issue.

My problem was because of my windows version the N one WITHOUT media player, and I need this for a "layout" of codec for windows

I just downloaded and installed Windows Media feature
HERE

Everything is fine now.

Have a good day
