I'm scratching my head......

Okay, I want to know what version of PowerDirector you are using. Look in Help/About.

I want to know precisely what you are doing? My guess is you're tweaking Titles to display something and it's making the program crash... I want to know what that is? So tell me. I want to see if I can replicate... and perhaps tell you an easier way.

Do you know how to screen grab images? A picture tells a story.

Your right when I go into titles and use say the standard, then use scoll up
and write a couple of paragraphs thats when it crashes. It did work before
with a movie a week ago.The message (the parameter is incorrect) pops
up and when you cancl it , it comes back.
The only way to shut down computer is to restart it.I have a
poem about 11 sentences long I got to add,it is by a sister who just lost
her brother(a policeman) and Im making the family this film to honor
him.Any help Isure would be thankful ,My software or computer has been
down two days got to get this done....help...

Insufficient information. PD used?

Each Title has a name and it is? Font used, Size?

Please be aware that Text should NOT be displayed right to the edge of a screen... If you do, I guess you've just found that out....

I asked for an image so I can see what you were doing.

Okay I'm a bit busy right now.... so I'll get back to you when I can.

I'm having the same problem with PD5. Having read several posts from others experiencing the same thing, it appears that there is some sort of cutoff point in a title at which PD will not accept any more characters without giving this error. Specifically, when I make a title, if I put in a few characters, (I haven't counted the exact number), everything's fine. But, once I exceed a certain limit (which is unknown to me), this error pops up, and the program will absolutely not allow you to go any farther. The only alternative is to close the program, delete the file, and redo everything. What I'd like to be able to do is have a bunch of lines of information slowely scroll up the screen. A patch from Cyberlink would be wonderful. I'd even accept a workaround.
