There was a thread last year about this, but no explanation or solution.
The colors in Phd8 look more saturated than for instance in 'Photo's' (Windows 10app).
It's very annoying when you want to share your pics with friends or the photo club..
What's causing this?? I just downloaded the latest version of Phd8 and the issue is still there...?

Hello WayPay,

As you've noticed, this has been raised a number of times previously.

Your observation is that PhD8's colour display is more saturated, evidenced by your screenshot. Other users have suggested quite the opposite - that the colour display seems less saturated.

In an attempt to shed some light on the topic, I posted some colour render tests here, comparing PhD's display with other software.

Yes, there is a difference in how various software displays colours. BUT, the difference isn't consistent with all users & all hardware/monitors. That is probably why no instant solution or explanation can be provided.

Please see attached two side-by-side comparison screenshots with Win10 Photos on the left & PhD8 on the right. These reflect only what I see on my monitor (calibrated today).

Thanks, PIX.

I downloaded the files and see a touch more saturation on the 'Photo's' side.
In my case it's the other way around...
I downloaded a trial version of Lightroom and the colors were spot on..
Then I downloaded the trial version of Paintshop Pro, and the colors
were slightly more saturated in PhotoDirector.
I really like PhotoDirector but this color issue...
