YouCam cannot connect to my webcam!

I'm on an HP Pavilion laptop running win 7 X64.

YouCam cannot connect to my HD Truevision HD webcam, advising that I close any application using it .... but there isn't any using it at all!

Any ideas folks?

I am having the same problem, except I am having an additional error message stating, that my TrueVision HD webcam is not on? As far as what I have read, when you open your YouCam, it's supposed automatically activate my webcam! I know that I have the driver software, because the driver states, Cyberlink Virtual WebCam Driver! But, my driver is under Sound, Video and Game Controllers? Also, I am not using nor have another program, that requires a webcam! Weird huh?
