Members who test the beta batch and I'm sure many of us will have a go, here are some items to include and consider.

1. Test the issue you find, see if it repeatedly does the fault.
2. Write up your actions/report so others can follow your actions (step by step) and replicate the fault you've found.
3. Be thorough. Test the beta fully BEFORE writing a report here, "don't jump too soon" without checking your actions.
4. INCLUDE a diagnostic of your PC.
5. Don't overload this feedback location with multiple confirmations - one or two is ok, if you disagree, that's good to.
6. Feedback on the patch - no distracting or tangential commentary is wanted, as it is unnecessary on this thread.

Have a go and see what you find - it can be fun making PowerDirector better.

Hi, Dafydd,

Downloaded and installed this 2327 beta patch.

Using PD12 under Windows 8.1, I'm happy to see that my main issue with the continual rendering has disapeared after installing the last Nvidia driver (331.82). No more problem when I read the timeline.

Good job..... Jean-Paul

Using win7-64 Pro.

Installed latest beta patch. So far so good. No freeze ups. Had no idea the pre rendering I was experiencing on the time line was not supposed to happen. It took forever and was annoying. Well no longer have pre rendering and production rendering seems to a lot faster. I like the fact that the program now gives you a pop up window that says something to the effect "improper argument". When I close it I make sure I dont repeat the same thing again. Before it would freeze and windows 8.1 would close the program. Was getting ready to ditch the software. Seems I might stick with it now. BTW disabled "shadow file creation". Now works faster. Thanks Chris

Remove the old download from the folder you used last time or create a new folder and move it in there. Move PowerDirector_2321_GM4_Patch_Patch_VDE131105-02.exe and others to a new folder and then the download link will work again.

Hi geoffdown1,
Follow what Jeff has suggested. If that fails for you go to: C:\ProgramData\CyberLink\Downloader and delete all the *.ini files. You should then be able to use the Downloader.

I can confirm that this update resolves issues 1 and 7 for me. (I found issue 7 while working with Michael of Pixelan last week to figure out what was happening, and they found that it was a problem with the PD code and reported it to Cyberlink). I'm glad the patch was released so quickly!

I was hoping that solving issue #5 would allow me to burn DVD discs or folders that have a custom menu without crashing with an error code of eC00C0005, but no such luck

Hi Jean,
From what I understand, NVIDIA knows about the issue and are working on a fix. The current PDR 12 beta patch contains a workaround until Nvidia fix the driver. This is a testing BETA patch and the CyberLink workaround appears to work for PDR12 users. Beta patches are put out to be checked by end users.

Problem solved! Problems with Create Disc: BD25 H.264 with custom menu. Error eA0040003. 12.0.2327.0

- In beta patch build v2321 it was not working but I saved the PDS file and used in the V2327 beta patch. That will not work !

- I sended info to CL that it also not works in the new patch BUT.....

- Made it all from the start (v2327) with new custom menu and that worked.

So, it looks like old created custom menu's (saved PDS files) won't work but when new created it works. Thanks all.
