Yeah tried it this morning, still an issue.
Yup still give that pre rendering progress bar and cuda is deactivated when trying to produce.

Have to use the old 331.58,331.65 and up give me issue's.

I just bought this version of PD12 a day ago from my old PD10.

I thought they should had fixed this issue for a new version type PD12,looks like I will have to get a refund before the 30 day.
I'm using Nvidia 770 4bg version.

EDIT:
ack sorry looks like they remove the link, you dont have a copy of your email when you purchase it?

The email has the link for it,otherwise you have to wait usually 24 to 48 hours or so.
Probably because some people were going off topic and breaking forum rules, dunno but that's what I think.
I just tested the new beta hoping it's fix which is NOT fix,you still have to keep using the 301.42 to avoid the green rendering problem .

I'm just letting y'all know to save your time.

As to why such high bitrate at 13mb,the quality depend on the source video will be blocky bad quality @1920x1080 at lower bitrate below 13mb.

The only slightly to get better quality is not to use the GPU acceleration for lower bitrate only use your CPU.
Well looks like they finally saw our bug submit reports, one of the Nvidia reps responded to this problem.

ANDYB response:
There is an open bug in our database and there are several people actively working on the problem.

I still suggest keep submitting the bug report with detail on the Nvidia official bug report link(Display Driver Feedback):

Any other new users with Nvidia and none new users we have to do our part to let Nvidia know the issue with their drivers otherwise it will never get fix.
Previously I couldn't contact them throgh official channel forums till one the folks from Nvidia posted a official bug report link,I'm requoting what i said on other users post:

Please us the official driver for Nvidia 301.42,any beta version after that even the new on that's out today has issue with GPU acceleration.

Also everyone else if y'all can please submit a bug on this link to Nvidia so they can fix this issue.

The new version whql of Nvidia will be release around the corner and I assume it will not have the fix for PD10 acceleration since the new whql will be basically identical to the beta version 306.02.

Reason why the quality is better when you turn off(uncheck) the true velocity engine etc is due how it's encoded.

The thing is using any type of fast encoding produces less quality to make up for faster encoding time.

Cuda,CL,True velocity or any type of engine that speeds the encoding time produce less quality due it's instructions its limit it has on GPU.

This not only effects PD10,also effect Sony Vegas,Adobe etc higher quality software.

In short and less technical description for easier understanding is that Cuda or any engine thats speeds up encoding time uses fast(dumb)instruction less accurate on how to encode the video while turning this features off and using your CPU uses more precise decisions and better quality versus GPU encoding.

Do a search on the web for CPU vs GPU Encoding for more specifics.
This link should give you a better understanding, the website you posted is probably refering the deluxe version.

To avoid any problems I suggest you get the ultra edition for the blu ray support.
Hi I'm another volunteer.

Lottie I know whats your problem your having, based on your DxDiag your using the nvidia beta drivers 304.79.

The 304.79 has problems using the hardware accelaration in PD10,you will need to use the official drivers 301.42 @

Quote: loading is fine....its when I go to edit video, it takes 12/15 second for it to function and move on....making it totally unusable as program....I dont do a lot of neat tricks I just want to edit my video and somewhat quickly. I did it fine in 9...so it isnt my machine.
When I go to split the video their is this pause that was not their in v.9 Almost everything about this version SLOOOOOW.

Since your not willing to provide the info to help you,I can only guess that it's most likely due to beta drivers for the video card.
Try using the official drivers from AMD or Nvidia cause I cant know what your using.
You should be able to do it but requires a bit of tweaking,it is possible to do any frame rates in your case 42fps or 48fps.

First read post number 4 and 5 from Dafydd Bevan - SoftDeko or read the whole post to get a better idea what you should do to make a custom template with 48 fps:

http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/17939.page#91727

Once you create your custom profile you open up with note pad and manually change the frame rate on this line based on the example from his post post that he quoted on post 5:

<Frame Rate>29.969999
to
<Frame Rate>48.000000

That should let you out put your videos at 48fps.

I would use the m2ts template not the mp4 template due to my own experience of fps.

In the past I tried to make a 30fps on the mp4 template but the result would always gave me a video at 29 fps instead of 30fps which I needed, the m2ts works better.
Use the link that ynotfish posted if want to best quality for youtube under my comment.

But clear answer is mp4 with codec h.264,why?
Youtube themself says so under this link:
http://support.google.com/youtube/bin/static.py?hl=en&topic=1728573&guide=1728585&page=guide.cs

Also there more information about videos especially stating that you need to upload videos of max 30fps not anything over that(recommended).
I personally don't use the restore point and also i have it off in my Windows 7.

My personal reason and experience is due that virus can infect those file and corrupt them when you try to do a restore which causes even more damage to your OS.

What I do now is use a free back up utility to do a full back up of my hard drive in case of an emergency.

If you have a Maxtor drive or even a Seagate hard drive (Maxtor is now own by Seagate) you can use their free Discwizard software that makes a complete back up of your OS image.

Their discwizard software is based on Acronis backup solution software.

The only requirement to be able to use the software is have a hard drive internal or even external a Maxtor or Seagate brand.

If you don't have any those brands there's another software that I use on my brothers customers pc's,the software is called Macrium Reflect Free it does the basic the same as Discwizard expect it doesn't matter what hard drive you have.

I know that Windows 7 pro has it's own back up feature, the only thing I hate about it is that the file image is bigger then Discwizard or Macrium software image.
Sorry for late response,I been busy.

I try to help best I can.

Hmm,Did you download the latest version of Quicktime from apples website after everything is installed?

You did everything that I would do except I would download the new version on Quicktime from apples site after everything is installed with all the patches etc.

Other then that would contact the official tech support for further help.
On your profile Wistia-640,edit it to show the pop up box.
Go to the video tab and make sure to Uncheck the deblock at very botton of the box and then save the changes and try to produce the movie again.

Deblock settins can cause this problems,at least it happens to me.

EDIT:

I re read your post again and saw that even with no custom profile you still get error.

I wondering you might need to reinstall PD again.

PS
I just did a quick search on google and found a post by Dafydd Bevan about your problem with "Cyberlink CLQTKernelClient32 has stopped working".:
Hi,
W7
Go to your Control Panel,
Here: Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features
Select to uninstall QuickTime

Please uninstall PD next
Run the CL Cleaner tool: http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/bookmarks/list/4556.page
Now shut down/restart your PC
Install PD9 again.

I'm guessing there is a problem with CL and QT interaction.

You need QT on your PC for PD to function correctly. If you've installed a codec pack (see PD9's readme html file) it can have an adverse effect on some systems, knocking out QT by substituting codecs.

You will need to reinstall quicktime gain after you uninstall it.
Sweet!
That's like 5 people or so that states it's a drivers issue.

So anyone else try using either older drivers or use the ones that worked before, this should goes same for AMD users.
you probably already know this but make sure you download the drivers from nvidia and not from the factory of the laptop website.

Also did this happen all the time since you got PD?

Do you remember what driver version you had before that did not cause the preview render to pop up?
