How to apply fade in to a PowerDirector range
[Post New]
I've done an internet search for this

https://duckduckgo.com/?q=How+to+apply+fade+in+to+a+PowerDirector+range&ia=videos

and also this forum

and youtube and found nothing.

I found this which seem to addres the issue but did not work
https://www.cyberlink.com/stat/edms/pdr_training/enu/basic_07.html

Is it possible to select a range and apply fade in to all the pics?

I have a 5 minute clip that is all pictures, and audio, no video and would like to fade in on all of them

PD17's interface is a little different from the older version PepsiMan used in his video. It's the same basic steps, but you'd click on this tool:

Make sure you have the default transition duration set first under Preferences > Editing.

PepsiMan, the approach you showed is still there, nothing disappeared. CL simply added an icon pallet above the timeline, with the same stuff. However, I still find the "Library Menu" buttons easier, it's always there. The new added icons disappear even when the Transition Room is open and you select a null area of the timeline, so you constantly have to click just some random transition to bring the icon selection pallet back.
