can't upgrade to PD17 from PD13

And it is a bit dissapointing. According to the web site it says I'd need PD15-16 to upgrade to PD17.

It 's not terribly expensive so I'll spring for a new item.

Or am I wrong about the upgrade?

Basically, they'll give you a discount if you upgrade every year or two, but not if you wait 4 years

If you do buy the full version, you won't have to uninstall PD13. In fact you should keep it installed so that PD17 will see any customized and downloaded content from PD13. After that, feel free to keep or uninstall PD13 as you see fit.
