PowerDVD 18 does not appear to update my media folders. After install, the settings were imported from PowerDVD 17. I got the circling dots indicating it was scanning the folders. At first, it hung on the Music Folder and would not display the items. I uninstalled and removed the PowerDVD 17/18 saved settings. I reinstalled and identified my movies and tv shows. It scanned and displayed the movie folder, but after 14 hours it is not displaying my TV shows.

I am going to reinstall 17 and see if I get them back.
