I have upgraded my PC recently.
The Specs are:
Processor : AMD Phenom X4 955, Quad core,speed set to 3.6 Ghz
Graphics card : nVidia GTS 250 1 GB
HDD - Seagate 320 SATA
Memory : Corsair 2 x 2 GB, 1600 Mhz
Mother board - Gigabyte GA-MA-FX-UD4P
OS : Win XP 64
PD - 7.0.3017
Problem
I created a test video using my MP4 clips and PD7 sample clips
The output format is BD HD, Dolby digital enabled. PD hangs.
I tried with all formats available with PD, but to no avail.
Drive is fully defragged. Temp and junk cleaned. Page file set to windows default. GPU encoding enabled in prefences. GPU driver latest 186.18. Windows DirectX latest. All Windows updates in place.

Any suggestions

I am unable to render 1920X1080 HD video after using the magic stabiliser module but all works fine at 1280X720.

I would suggest trying it at a lower resolution and also to try it without using the GPU acceleration to see if you can narrow down the problem. My youtube channel====> http://www.youtube.com/user/relate2?feature=mhsn

Thank you Robert.
I disabled GPU acceleration. No fun . The PD hangs the moment I click render.
I think PD is 32 bit application which has problem when high demands are made with it PC specs :

Strange.

I produced a project which all the video came from 24Mb/s MPEG-4. I used the MPEG-2 BD profile and had no problems. This was also the first time I didn't have a software crash using my AVCHD videos.

I'm using VISTA 32 bit so maybe your on to something about 64 bit compatibility. Q9300 2.5 GHz
4 GB Ram
Nvidia 9800 GT

Precisely. I had Vista 64 bit uninstalled as I have found win XP 64 server edition to be most stable. PC specs :
