Photograph custom order

I have created an album and would like to change the order of the pictures within that album, when I try and do that I get a message say that PD does not allow custom orders because sub folders are presence.

There are no sub folders apart from the album.

When I go back to "folders" in the library, I can change the order of the pictures at will.

So how do I change the order of pictures in an album?

The short answer is "You can't."

That alert message, which also pops up in Collections, Tags & Faces, is a little too generic to be useful, but the meaning is "You can't"

The only way to change the order of photos is to be in Folder view.

I had a feeling that would be the case... so to change the order I would export my album then re import as a folder then sort!

Job done!
