I inserted an MP4 file taken with a Nokia N-93i mobile phone. PD7 gives the following error :
Media source error
Power director failed to construct the media source as graph. This may be due to lack of decoding filters for the file you are trying to edit

I feel PD7 does not have MP-4 codec.
File properties:
Type: MP4
Original duration: 00:01:49:15
Duration in Timeline: 00:01:49:15
Bitrate: 2.71 Mbps
Resolution: 640x480
Frame rate: 29.52 fps
Type: AAC
Sample rate: 48kHz
Channel: Stereo

Babdi,

I receive an email from you this morning with one of the same MP4's you sent me a while back.

Both the previous ones and of course the same latest one play, place and can be edited in PD7 without a problem.

I've a little camera that produces 720p mp4's - no problems.

OK?

I am now having the same problem as Babdi. Did you ever find out what the problem is?

Many Thanks,
