I have let's say a ballroom scene with the music clear and upfront on track one.

Now I want to cut to track two, which is outside in the lobby and of course the sound now is more subdued and distant.

Why can't I do that? Or can I? It seems I have to decide on one audio track but this makes it impossible to intercut to a conversation in the lobby with the music distant and a little muted.

So why can't I simply take the audio tracks with me in Multicam designer once they are synchronized?

Any help, please?
