When playing a blu ray that is DTS HD, it displays on the screen compressed audio. I thought the DTS HD is lossless. Why does it display compressed audio. I have it connected via HDMI to my surround sound receiver.

Compressing can be lossless. That's precisely what DTS HD Master Audio and also Dolby TrueHD are - compressed lossless formats. My collection: http://www.blu-ray.com/community/collection.php?u=194008&action=showcategory&category=1&categoryid=7
