I have build 1714. Do I need to install 1829 first or can I bypass it and go to 1915?

Apply the patch to ALL previous release builds.

I wanted to double check with tech support on whether or not I could jump from 1714 to 1915 by installing just the patch and this is what they replied:

Please follow the link below to download and install PowerDirector 7.0:
PowerDirector 7.0 (build: 1911) [Vista ready]

Followed by a link to download
PowerDirector7 1911 VDE071008

Then install the 621_4 patch.

I've been attempting to download this 1911 build for over a day. It's 620MB and the download speed is 17.4k. After trying 4 times, the best I've ever gotten is 31% complete after 5 hours. Then it just hangs. And yes, I have high speed internet.

My question is this: Has anyone successfully gone directly from build 1714 to 1915 using just the patch and bypassed the other builds like 1829 and 1911?

As Dafydd has said, the patch applies to all previous versions, the patch includes all updates since first release and will update 1714 to 1915

Yes and all appear to function rightly.
