Hi,

I forgot to ask for some clarification in my first question -- regarding the 3 files included in the download.

1_PD12_Ultra_Upgrade_VDE131210-02.exe
2_PD12_ContentPack_Essential_PCP130619-01.exe
3_PD12_ContentPack_Premium_PCP130619-02.exe

I downloaded and set up #1. #2 is a massive size (like 22 gigs), and the download fails in any event. #3 is 1 gig and in the process of downloading now. What are #2 and #3, and are they both necessary?

Thank you for any guidance on this.

Why is the download failing for you? What exactly is the failure?

Essential is 2.2GB NOT 22GB!
Premium is 1GB.
Yes you need to download them - the contents offer you templates etc you'll find useful and a carry forward of templates from early PowerDirector versions.

I'm not sure why it's failing. I'm trying it again right now, but I thought that maybe it was because of the size. Actually in the progress window, it shows it as 2.2 gigs. Sorry for the typo on that.

I have a screenshot of the list of download failure events. Thanks for the info. Knowing that now, I will definitely utilize them.

Maybe you should ask Cyberlink for an alternate download source.

EsdService.com is a supplier of downloaded software.

Thanks Carl312. Just an update. It did finally complete the download today. So now I do have all three of the files installed.
