Is there an official way to suggest features and/or improvements...or bugs?

Just wondering if Cyberlink reads these forums for program bugs, and/or feature requests. For those of us who use it a lot I'm sure we have tons of suggestions for better workflow, more flexibility, etc. Is there a proper place to put these comments?

Under the "Question Type" select "Other"

Next "Select the question type" there you can make a suggestion officially.

Nice. Thanks! Have you found them to be receptive to suggestions, or do they tend to "do their own thing" when it comes to adding features?

Well, I put in about 6 suggestions, so we'll see what happens!

What menu changes do you mean?

It would certainly be nice to have even more flexibility in creating DVD/Bluray menus. I think it's adequate for the average person, though. There are other programs available both commercial and free that can do more if needed. It just depends on the needs of the user and how much they're willing to pay.

With that said, I do find it slightly odd that Cyberlink makes one of the most popular DVD/Bluray *players* for PCs (PowerDVD - So they obviously know their way around the structure of a DVD or Bluray), but doesn't make a high level DVD/Bluray authoring program (as far as I know).

The Menus need some simple generic setups. I don't want, weddings, birthdays, vacations, etc. Give us a simple background (make it changeable) and let us fill in as needed.

Really need the ability to have the main menu allow selecting the video's available when there are just 2 or 3 and NOT have the Play and Scenes on the main title and then have to go to the Scenes menu to select the video.

PwrDir is great but the DVD Menus is the weakest spot.

Please consider improving this area.

Thanks

Well, in a few months or so CL should be releasing PD13 so we can see what they've been working on the past year or so... Hopefully, '13' is the lucky number.

To be honest, I generally don't use PD12 for the final DVD/Bluray setup and burn (I have another one I use specifically made for this purpose that, although slightly more technical to use I'll admit, is MUCH more powerful and flexible in this area). For just about everything else, though, PD is just the ticket.
