Wow, what's up?

I just posted a reply in another thread and got a big RED warning telling me the forums are now moderated and I must wait until my post is approved by a moderator. ~Tom~

I was told by a reliable source that CL did it as a precaution against an unusually high amount of spam attacks

Happy editing

Kmot, you are not the only one.

I had one of my posts on feb 1, 2014 with the same moderated message.
It still has not shown up.

The odd thing, I can find it listed in Search, Click on the found message, nothing shows. It does go to the thread and subject. My message does not appear.

I did mention a well known Video Player, I sure was not selling that player as it is free.

It appears the restriction has been lifted from the PD12 forum, but still applies to the PD11 & PD10 & earlier forums (which were under the heaviest SPAM attack).

Carl - it was nothing any regular contributor did/wrote/said, I'm sure. It was a response to the SPATE of SPAM recently.

Cheers - Tony

Hi Kmot,
The forums have been subjected to a significant number of individual and robot sourced spam posts. An Administrator of the forum switched on the "Moderated" option to prevent further attack posts being listed. In carrying out this action all posts became subject to approval. For the moment the forum is open but may be again "Moderated" to stop a spam attack. It does make using the forum difficult for members. Various additional options are being considered.
