HD features activation offline

I tried to load a video taken from my Olympus still camera MP4 HD 16:9
(I think this is called H.234 or similar file name)
A window popped up requesting activation for this file type, but I've already paid for &
activated the program (why did this happen ??). Then it mentioned something about 30 days to activate
this feature "online", but I've already paid for & activated the program.

N.B. I "NEVER" connect my media production computer systems to the internet.

Checked FAQ's & have tried the trial version to check system compatibility before purchase.
This issue appeared on the trial version, but it said the feature was included in the full retail version upon purchase &
activation. I figured at that point that PwrDrctr 10 did process HD MP4 files, but I'd have to trust that it
worked on purchase / activation.
No alternatives given for offline activation like all my other audio / media production software.
If there is a separate activation required for certain program features, how do I activate these feature/s
offline please ?

Work waiting on this, hope it gets sorted quickly !

Hi mdharp,
The Produce and Create Disc function require online activation.

Suggestion: Place the nature.mpg in the VT1 and select all options in produce. Then repeat the method in Create and choose all options. All are a one time action and once you've activated the functions you wont be bothered again and can work off-line.

Hi Dafydd. Thanks for responding. This is not for the "Produce" or "Create Disc" functions, but for just loading a compatible HD MP4 file. Now I'm told that I'm going to have this problem again with other normal basic video production procedures !!!. How many other processes am I going to do in the future that require "extra activation" & for this software / computer to be online ?? It should just require a simple file transfer / install via offline. All software I use provides this option in my experience. Are Cyberlink saying that I've got to pull my recording / mastering studio apart, spend half a day sealing all the optical fibre connections from dust contamination (& risk the huge problems associated with that if anything gets in there), labelling cables, transporting the hardware to an online connection, buy & install all the AV software for a safe online connection, all for software I've already downloaded in full, paid for in full, & activated ??
There was no warning of this in the features & specs sections of the PD 10 info.
This seems "more" than unusual. I'm finding it a bit hard to believe this is happening, that separate "extra" activation for basic video production processes is even needed, & offline activation is not possible.
This is "at least" a full day of work lost, plus considerable additional expense, without due warning !!!!!!
There has to be someone there who can make this happen, surely !

Hi mdharp,
Quite a few software require online activation.
