Carl,

Hey, Texas is another country all by itself! (I lived there for 20 years, so I'm allowed to say that). Regards,

Texas was at one time its own country. It lasted nine years.

Maybe, but I'm not sure PD really has a playback level per say, that's just the basic interface to windows system volume mixer for a app control. Every app can be controlled independently, all through the windows volume mixer. It's not unique to PD playback, it's the volume for the app so everything in the app would be at some setting relative to system volume. It's how one uses unique volumes for every Application.

Since BarryTheCrab also posted his volume is always lower, I wonder if he modified the system volume for PD too or some other anomaly. My volume has always been consistent, unless of course I change it.

Hi, all!

Last night I was finishing off my Steamfest 2016 project by adding the narration, Thought this might be a good opportunity to try the "overall volume settings" sliders(the horizontal sliders), and yes, they certainly made the difference! I was using PD8 to lay in the narration track, broken down to individual parts relevant to the various points in the video, setting the overall level for the voice(narration) track, lifted or lowered them all equally!.... BRILLIANT! Will save me time and energy in future!

Cheers!

Neil.
