I got to agree with James, the length of the video is killing the burn on a single layer DVD. Smartfit is not SmartCRAM! HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)
Nvidia GTX 960(4GB)/16GB DDR3/
Canon Vixia HV30/HF-M40/HF-M41/HF-G20/Olympus E-PL5.
Tape capture using 6 VCR, TBC-1000, Elite BVP4+, Sony D8 camcorder with TBC.

We know that the rendering of PD12 is only good for the DVD HQ, profile any option drops the quality.
But I guess I the subject of this topic and pixellização when jumping chapters, I already noticed this and had to redo some DVD.
The error appears on any player, PC, DVD and BluRay Player.

Hello Again.

It seems to be there is pixel failure, when using Windows 8 or Windows 8.1.
I tryed to install Windows 7 ulta 64 bit, and get no problems with pixel failure.

I dunno if there is any update patch for Powerdirector 12 Ulta, for solution of pixelfailure in Windows 8 or 8.1.
Seems to be Windows 7 Ulta still are the best OS.

Any suggestion for Windows 8 or 8.1 ?

My Windows 8x64 works fine. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)

I use win 7 ultimate 64 bit

Hardware info:

CPU i7-3820 3,60ghz 10 MB (Socket 2011)
Motherboard: Acer Sabertooth X79 (socket 2011)
Harddrive: (c: drive) Samsung SSD 250 GB 840 series (f: drive) WD 1TB
Graphic Card: Nvidia Geforce GTX 660TI 2GB DDR5
Memory: Kingston Hyper X 16GB 2133mhz DDR3

Is that good enough for Power Director 12, and will you suggest Windows 8 or 8.1 ?
If i can run Powerdirector 12 without pixelfailure in Windows 7 64 bit, i should be abble to run it in win 8 or 8.1 too.

I use powerdirector ultra 12 64 bit. For codecs, use K Lite Mega Codecs.
