As far as I know, the video will be the 16:9 aspect ratio with a rotational flag of 90 degrees. It should view properly on newer Windows OS and with updated viewers but not in Windows 7.

HEVC in 9:16 was new at PD20 and appeared to be plagued with issues in the initial release. Some bugs were corrected in subsequent patches. You might make sure you are using the latest version 2815, if not, you might try updating from here https://www.cyberlink.com/support/index.html?action=download and see if the issue is resolved if you'd like H.265.
