Time Stamp FX - Frame Count Issue

I want to add a countdown timer to a video clip. The exact time is important to the video. The TimeStamp I am using in Power Director 21 has what I consider a bug. I can set the timer to count down from 20 mins but with the FPS set to 30 the most I can set the initial time to is 20:00:24 (ie 20 mins, 0 seconds 24 frames). If you manually advance the timeline one frame at a time the frame count decreases to 20:00.01 and the next frame the timer displays 19:59:29. From this point on each second is 30 frames. Any suggestions on how to resolve ?

Buggy feature ?

I don't see any issues when my project's frame rate and the FX FPS are both set to 30. I see the counter advance by 1 second per frame whether I count up or use the Reverse time option and count down.

It works the same whether I have the dragged the FX directly onto a clip (black numbers in the below video) or if I place it on a separate FX track (shown with yellow numbers):

This was done on a 60p clip.

I also tried setting the inital value to 20:00:29 and 20:00:24, and both timers work exactly as expected

From your description, it sounds as if your PD pref > General Timeline frame rate: is set at 25fps.

Thanks for having a look at this issue. The two attachments show the Time Stamp set up, I cannot set the frame count to 30. and a piece of video that attempts to show the frame counter..

29 to 00 in frames is a count of 30 frames when the frame is advanced on my 59.97 fps timeline.
