Hi, Just a bit confused with your question.
Have you already converted your tapes to digital?
If so, what format... .mp4 .mov .avi

I havent used video2 Pc so not too sure the method to transfer. My advice is to look at youtube videos if your stuck at converting.

Hi,

I assume that you are running PDR365 and windows 11 - if not please give your PDR version and operating system version.

2 possible issues with capturing from such a device - getting the signal from the player, in your case VCR or camcorder to the device and getting the output from the device to PDR.

Presumably the VCR is either RCA (composite) out directly or via a SCART adapter and the camcorder could be RCA out or S-Video out? Depending on each player spec you may have to check which output works best for sound and video using a simple setup to a monitor or TV viewer.

The device will capture the input signal and then output it via USB to the PC and PDR. Again you will have to experiment to ensure the appropriate drivers are correctly installed for the PC to recognise the device and then for PDR to find the device.

A google search found these 2 links about setup with PDR, perhaps they might be useful?

In the Capture room, you should select the TV icon with the analog ariel (2nd in from right in PDR365) but if it is not active, you will have to select it from the Setting menu.

If you search the forums for Ion video2PC you will get a number of posts on the subject.

Let us know how you get on.

Cheers
