  • Hey All! Need your expertease...

So I recently uploaded a years worth of videos off my Sony HD vidoe camera to my Micrososft OneDrive where I store and organize everything. They auto upload as MTS format.

They import and play just fine in PD 365, put I can't play or privew them on my Dell laptop when in the Cloud to see if I'm going to need to import a particulatr video or not into 365. Is there a safe file / driver I can download to Dell that will allow to my watch it before uploading into PD?

2nd question: When prododucing my Project -- whats the best format to go with for a Blu-Ray disc? MP2, MP4? H.246?

Thanks so much in advance for any input you may have!

    My Best,
    Jarred

The playback limitation on OneDrive is related to the audio codec that was used on the clips, as mentioned here. If you still have the original clips in the OneDrive folder on your laptop (or another computer) you can preview them from there.

I haven't burned a disc in many years, but you can find the appropriate settings from the Create Disc module in the Produce room. Choose one of the HD settings regardless of whether using MPEG-2 or H.264 format. You can also search the forum as there are hundreds of posts about that subject.

As Optodata writes: look around this forum to see what has been advised. I regularly make Blu-ray disks. I don’t use PD for the actual creation. I use MPEG2 with the highest possible settings for Blu-ray disks: (PAL) 1920x1080/50i (25Mbps). It is important to have set the project settings accordingly.
