Rendered 28 minute video MP4 1080 30 fps. plays well on pc with no issues. However when playing on smart tv audio is out of sync. Tried on multiple smart tv's, different makes and models...audio on mp4 is out of sync. My thought was it was possibly encoded in variable bit rate...not sure if you can change this in Powerdirector? Please help

Hi,

Quite a common problem. My last LG smart TV was quite picky with video formats, my latest Sony (surprisingly) seems to be less so.

It might be useful to analyse your .mp4 output files using MediaInfo and attach the analysis as a text file to see if members can offer any solutions/tweaks etc.

Did you ever get this issue fixed? I have the same problem. I put togther a video with a music track. It plays great on my PC. When I play it back on a high end 4K smart TV the music track will not start when the video starts. If it let the video run 20 seconds or so and then rewind a bit, the music starts. But the music will stop again later at a random time.

I have tried multiple ways to connect the TV to the file including eithernet from TV to PC and putting the video file on a USB and plugging it into the TV.

I did. I reviewed the specs of each video clip on the timeline. I discovered a prerendered clip at 23 fps with the remaining clips 30 fps. I re-rendered it in After Effects at 30 fps and replaced it on the timeline to match my editing timeline...it fixed the issue.

Using VS Ult 10 to create an mp4 video. I have a rough version but it has audio hiccups that need correction.
I'd like to use Audacity to clean the audio and then re-render the video using the edited audio file. Sounds simple, but I'm getting totally out of sync every way I try.
I thought the sync trouble might come from using Audacity, but I've noticed that I have sync problems even if I just stay in VS.
