Hi,

I have read a few posts about version 2508. The "Downloads" - "software updates" link points to version 2220c.

Is v 2508 available to the general public at the moment and if so, how can this be accessed? Thank you.

2508 is not yet available, it is being looked at by a number of editors for feedback.
However, it's possible you might get it from support, ask them.

The Full version 2508 is currently available to new purchasers of PowerDirector. The patch update for previous PD8's will be released asap.

Please contact online support with your proof of purchase information, order number and registration details etc and they will assist you.

What does this mean? Is the patch tested by a limited group already? But then i dont understand, why new customers get this release. This sounds odd.

Is anyone able to share this patch on rapidshare or is this not allowed?

The release is a FULL build. IF you're a registered owner of a PD8 license then contact Customer Support and make a request.

The "patch" is not yet released, it has not either been made or is currently being tested prior to release... understand?

I have just updated to 2508; as I have been filing bug reports with CL.
I have noticed slight improvement, for the bugs I was testing for.

Now I have a distorted image green in color when you re-size an Item, in the preview window. Does anyone else get this? New post maybe needed.

the bug I was testing for appears to be resolved, Yay!!

Better out come though I can live with the green image, and its resolvable by moving the slider.
