Na versão do powerDirector mobile existe uma função "plano de fundo" que quando aplicada a uma foto vertical, ele cobre os espaços pretos com a propria foto e vc tem a possibilidade de desfocar, já na vesão para pc não achei essa função....

What you can do is copy the photo and put it in the track above. Then stretch the photo in the first track (which shows in the background of the original photo) and blur it with an effect.
