unable to play mp3 files in power dvd 21

HI
I need some help with power dvd 21, I am unable to play any mp3 files on my computer with windows 10 home on it.
I tryed to burn the files on a cd did not work, tryed to put files in a playlist that did not work, tryed indivigal files that did not work
Im baffeled dont know what to do next. did not try out when i purchesed the program. so i dont know if the whole program ever worked? i need some input on this problem.

I would try uninstalling Powerdvd and then reinstalling. See if that fixes it.
