Hardware Video Encoding Unavailable

Hi All - here is my PC info: Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7600)
System Manufacturer: MSI
System Model: MS-7593
BIOS: Default System BIOS
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 920 @ 2.67GHz
Memory: 6144MB RAM
DirectX Version: DirectX 11

Card name: ATI Radeon HD 5800 Series
Manufacturer: ATI Technologies Inc.
Chip type: ATI display adapter (0x6899)
DAC type: Internal DAC(400MHz)
Display Memory: 3824 MB
Current Mode: 1920 x 1080 (32 bit) (60Hz)
Monitor Name: Dell SX2210T(Digital)

I have installed/reinstalled PowerDirector & the 2220 patch multiple times trying to resolve this issue. I have also installed/reinstalled the ATI Drivers for my Radeon 5850 multiple times (currently on driver 9.12).

I am able to enable ATI stream under preferences; however, I am not able to select Hardware Video Encoding under 'Produce', and I do not see any option for it under 'Create Disc' either.

2 days ago this option was enabled under 'Produce'. The only new software I've installed is the latest update to my ATI drivers, but i've tried the previous 2 versions of the drivers as well, both with and without patch 2220 and no luck.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Not sure if this could be the problem, but when you updated the ATI drivers, did you also update Avivo software? I will look around my system and try to find exactly what I did to get it working, but several others on here will probably answer it faster, so check back. __________________________________
