New Question, downloads

OK, I guess my question on Rich Video was a tuff one, here comes, I hope, and easier one.
I downloaded some Motion Objects, titles, pips and others. What is the secret to getting them to show up all the time? I had an open project when I downloaded these and they all showed up and I used some. I saved my project with the new features and everything is fine.
OK, I start a new project and none of the downloads show up on a new project, if I open the earlier project all the downloads are there. I did notice one thing about the eg; motion objects
Some said motion objects under the display pic and some said downloaded under the display pic and the ones saying downloaded are the ones that didn't show up, the other where default ones.
As I said PD8 has been good to me, almost no problems just bus like what I described.
Hope this Question made since?

Thanks agrafton

It makes sense, agrafton.

You're talking about DirectorZone downloads, obviously.

To be honest, I've had (and heard of others having) a bit of hit-and-miss experiences with downloads. I usually try it (a) from within PD & (b) directly from DZ, then open the effect. Sometimes one way works - sometimes the other.

Have a look in the DirectorZone Forum and you'll see lots of similar questions (and responses) http://directorzone.cyberlink.com/forums/show/28.page

You understand that effects in 4:3 won't show up in a 16:9 project (and vice versa).

Cheers - Tony
