Wouldn't it be cool to be able to copy a clip from a PiP track into the main track? That feature would solve most of my problems editing multiple camera angles of the same shot.

I fully support this.

I have quoted Charles to CyberLink. We have all been crying out for this VT to PiP capability. If anyone else would like the inclusion of the VT to PiP copy (or drag and drop of a clip) capability please add your name.

Together we're a team with one voice.

Count me in with bells on, so many times I have tried to drag clips from VT to Pip track and vice versa and gone Doh I forgot you can't do that.

That would be a good feature and discussed several times previously on this forum.

It would be ideal if CL would take the list of all the user supplied upgrades from http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/3980.page and make a user voting poll with them. An upgrade to knock out the top 25 user requests in the next PD release would make a lot of happy current customers willing to upgrade. At least hopefully the top of the list would not include color coordinated tabs, transition icon image redesign, or a, yes please eliminate the BD burn to folder option all provided to us in PD8.

Jeff

Dafydd -

How could I possibly not respond to your rallying call? Together, we're a team with one voice!... even Barry is happy to share the stage this time

Yes - put my name down. There wouldn't be a session go by where that wouldn't be a great feature for me (& others, obviously).

I rather like the sound of Jeff's idea too. If there's any corner cutting to be done, it should be done on the silly stuff - not genuine stability & usability.

Cheers TEAM! - Tony

Hi Jeff and Tony,
I haven't encouraged or placed a specific PD8/9 suggestion form on the forum. I read the results of the previous form and picking ones way through some really abysmal contributions made me see it wasn't worth reading! R&D can read it but I didn't want to waste my time. Good ideas lost in a myriad of drivel!

I know the members who make and give input - they're here on the forum as contributors. I do my best to make sure feedback ideas get to the right people and they're credited to you.

Thank you all.

If you are forcing me to choose between (Candy Canes, Bubbles and Fairy Floss) over:

the inclusion of the VT to PiP copy (or drag and drop of a clip) capability please add your name.

then I would rejoice over GIVING UP Candy Canes and Bubbles!! Tony says I need to keep the Fairy Floss!!

My vote a hands down YES!!!!

Def would like to see this!!

Would be saving a lot of time at the moment on current project if could drag from the VT to PIP tracks

Specifically move elements of one long bit of footage which has been split into sections out of the VT into the PIP rather than having to produce little sections then bring them back into the project again

Happy Christmas & New Year to everyone!

Yes, fully support this idea! I'm frustrated to redo all my videos/photos after I found that they're better to be placed in PiP tracks.. I can't simply drag to those tracks!

OK, I've had a really positive response from R&D on the request we've all made and I look forward to when it's added to PD. Unfortunately not in PD8
