Magic Fix SLOW!

Hello, why whenever i apply a "Magic Fix" effect everything is soo slow, video preview slow, encoding the video ultra mega slow!!! everything else is perfect!!!

PD: my pc is a Athlon64 @ 2.8Ghz, 3 gb of ram, Ati x1900gt video card, 200gb hd

The preview is very labor intensive for your processor, especially when there are effects, multiple images, music, enhancements, etc.
You can make the preview smoother by lowering the quality of the preview.
Lower the preview quality by clicking on the icon 4th from the right, under the preview screen.
Also, rendering/producing is going to be slower as you add more effects, etc.

but even when rendering a 3 min video with JUST ONE magic fix effect, takes about 30 mins....

That does seem excessive.
I am doing a 20 second promo with ALL 9 timelines, music, and chromakey.
All this on a low powered core2duo 1.6 Vista. Standard Def to mpeg2.
It takes about 3 1/2 minutes. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)

PROBLEM SOLVED BY UPDATING POWERDIRECTOR TO THE LAST VERSION!!!

you're right the split screen doesnt work in the fix/enhance area

OS:Windows XP SP3 Pro (DirectX 9 with lastest updates)
CPU: AMD Athlon64 @ 2.8 Ghz
RAM: 3gb ddr1
Video: ATI Radeon X1900GT

EDIT: I rechecked and it works!!! maybe it was because i was using a bad quality video and i didnt notice the changes applied, but when i used WHITE BALANCE i noticed the change, with the split screen on...

The Fix Enhance issue is resolved and has been for a while. The advice I'm giving is posted on the forum.

I stand corrected.

Video Denoise and Video Enhancement DO NOT work in split screen for me.

Everything else does work in split screen.

I have contacted TS for build 2220c.
