I noticed the latest patch for PowerDVD fixed it for PowerDVD 21 anyways.
Adds Blu-ray movie/DVD/media file playback compatibility with the new Intel 12th Generation Alder Lake CPUs.
I'm using an older version of PowerDVD and get PowerDVD displays an error message "Incompatible graphics driver when trying to play back any Blu-ray disc.
Weird thing is playing back regular DVD's is fine just not Blu-ray disc.
I'm guessing it's because program doesn't recognize the newer Intel UHD graphics 770 in the new Intel 12th Gen CPUs
Also Ultra HD Blu-ray Advisor should proably be updated since running it says Blu-ray should work fine on my system.
Installing the latest PowerDVD 21 essential works for the moment since it has the patch but since trial version will only work for next 30 days.
So will older versions of PowerDVD get a patch also or are we forced to upgrade to version 21?
