New Blue filters disappeared after purchasing

I am completely confused. I bought the New Blue Essentials pack and a week later all the plugins have disappeared from Power director. Re-installing does nothing and I am £££ down. Anyone else had this?

This seems to be the same issue you posted about here.

I haven't had trouble with any older packs I've purchased directly from NewBlue, and if "all the plugins" are missing you'll need to follow the steps shown here to restore them by reinstalling an earlier PD version.

Which specific pack/packs did you buy that aren't showing up now?

I got a response from New Blue which quite frankly sucks.

'' I apologize you are having these issues. Unfortunately Cyberlink decided recently they were not going to continue to support our products stating that not enough users were utilizing our plugins. This leaves us unable to keep compatibility when they update their products as they are not allowing us to unfortunately. I would ask you to alert Cyberlink as well. "

They knew this and yet PD is listed as an option to tick upon installation which it shouldn't have been so I have requested a full refund since I have wasted $59 on a product I cannot use.

The New Blue Essentials pack has been supplied with PD19 Ultimate and earlier PD Ultimate versions. Registering any NB Packs back then and the NB Essentials I pack was given to you as a free gift that you could take with you.Hindsight is that registering has these benefits but is not necessary. I find that the NB packs purchased and installed years ago are working in PD365. I don’t remember seeing NB Video Essentials I being sold for $59. It is still $49 in the USA on their website. I am therefore confused. Please let us know the exact name of the actual pack and the website where you purchased it.

See attachment. Seems £45 is a bit steep if you only paid $49. The site where I purchased is also on that invoice. They are now giving me a full refund after they sent a troubleshooting link for installation which didn't work. I am gutted because I love their filters but am reluctant to purchase another video editor which does work with NEW BLUE since I use full price PD anyway.

Thank you for supplying the invoice screenshot with the detailed information. The vat tax is equivalent to the sales tax that most Americans have to pay now on online purchases. The older Video Essentials I installed does show up in PD20. It is one of the packs installed previously.

It looks like NewBlue updated their installation software even on the Classics vault to make them not compatible with all versions of PD. They already updated the installers on their newer software to make those not compatible with all versions of PD which happened when PD20 came out 2 months ago.

Someone in the FB PDU forum said the same thing about his very recent NB purchases not working but did not supply any detail like you did. This leads one to believe that future NB pack buyers will have the same issue.
