No Motion Tracker in Tools for 365?

Hello,
I just purchased the annual subscription for PowerDirector 365. One of the main reasons was after watching a tutorial on how to use Motion Tracker (under Tools) to blur a moving object (ie. face, etc). But when I try it, I don't see Motion Tracker as an option under the Tools dropdown. Anyone have any ideas on where I find it?
Thanks very much!

Many UI changes were made a couple of months ago, and the easiest way to find more info on any feature is to simply hit the F1 key to bring up the online help page.

The What's New in this Version page summarizes the main changes, and you can also search for specific tools to see how to use their control settings.

Thanks. Ok, so I just looked deeper into the version differences, and it appears it is because I'm using it on a Mac, and Motion Tracker (and about 100 other features!!!!) are only available on the Windows version! That is a huge let down.
See here for the MANY things you can't do on a Mac: https://www.cyberlink.com/support/faq-content.do?id=26040&isDraft=1

Probably going to cancel subscription, as this is not going to do the motion tracking/blur moving object, that I need it to

If anyone has any alternate solutions, would love to hear them.

thanks

Hello,

New features are being added to the Mac version every quarter, and it should soon catch up to the PC version. I can confirm that Motion Tracking will be available in the PowerDirector 365 Mac later this year.

Thank you for your response, and the good news about Motion Tracking being available for Mac users before end of 2021. That is a really important one. Do you have any insights into what other features missing from the Mac versions will be available soon? It's amazing how many additional features there are for Windows users, I'm really surprised there is so much disparity in features/capabilities between the two platforms at this point.
Thanks again, I will patiently await the motion tracking update in the coming couple of months.

Is there any chance that Multi Cam Designer will be coming soon as well? I used that one on my Windows version I had a few years ago.
Thanks again

I'm using Windows 11, yet when I click on "tools" no "motion detector" is seen. I've been trying to find a way, but nothing works. On a previous video I was able to blur faces, but I cannot remember how I did it.

If this is PD365, then highlight a video clip that has been placed on the timeline. Click the Tools button above the ruler and select Motion tracker which is the 7th one down.

Thanks, but that is exactly what I did. After clicking the tools button, Motion Tracker is not there. I have PD365.
When I click on "Tools", I have:
"PIP designer", "Mask Designer", "Slideshow Creator", "Blending Mode", "Pan & Zoom", and "Photo Editing by Photo Director".
No Motion Tracker.

More than likely you have a pic selected in the timeline prior to opening the "Tools" menu vs having a video selected.

Bingo! yes, I was experimenting using a blur on a jpg that I would use as background for a recording.
Thanks for the answer.
When I apply a blur to a picture, I can only use it once, so I can't blur several faces/objects.

You can add several FX tracks below the video/photo and use a unique blur mask on each one

Thanks. I guess I should have thought of that, but I haven't been using for a while!
